Time came to reevaluate my hosting decisions and reup, and since moving is the vogue thing to do, I’m jumping (jumped) ship. Dreamhost hasn’t been terrible to me, and I haven’t experienced all of those terrible outages that everyone seems to have nowadays, but I wanted some greener pasteurs. So, I’m a Slicehoster now.
It’s pretty neat. I’ve always been a command line and Linux guy, so this is the host for me. I get a VPS slice with whichever distro I want (Ubuntu - very, very vogue) and from there, it’s mine. I’m slowly getting everything rolling, but I have the basic LAMP up and running. So far, so good.
Just thought I’d share. I also dropped a new theme on the blog. Isn’t it nice?
