You know what I love most about vacations from work? I get a little time to work on stuff that I want to work on. None of this “I spend all day in front of a computer, so the last thing I want to do when I get home is spend more time in front of a computer.” Nope. I get time to do what I want. And so far on this trip, I wanted to rewrite RWikiBot and release Version 2.

Well, bully for me, I did it.

Not only did I do a fair bit of code work, but I also got the blog and wiki set back up. It’s a whole ecosystem over there. I mean, come on - every wikibot needs a wiki sandbox. And every good project needs a blog. RWikiBot has both. And a new, “fancy-pants” logo - now with tiny lights!

So, if you love Ruby, and you dig MediaWiki in a big way, you should definitely check it out.
