For all the time I’ve been coding, I’ve learned a few things from experiencing

them over and over. Mostly, it always comes back to the fact that I’d rather

do development instead of design. It’s not that I’m not graphically inclined

or don’t like it, I’d just rather be coding. I find that with development, I

get to see the efforts of my work faster with less rework or frustration. I’m

working on a super-secret project (more later) and I’m trying to create what

should be a really simple nav menu, but somehow I managed to spend about two

hours debugging CSS and making it play nice with

JQuery. Anyway, lots of fiddling and learning and

tons of Googling later and I got it all sorted out. But, it comes back to just

liking to code better. If only the UI were done already…
